Todays the day! There are so many photos I want to share with you, a little too many for one post in fact so I am going to split it into 4. The Morning | The Ceremony | The Pictures | The Evening
6am I woke up on our wedding day, with THE biggest smile on my face! It wasn’t long afterwards my doorbell went (Yes the suite was that large) and Talula was stood there with Amy excited for the day ahead.
That morning I remember going to breakfast with my family with Amy in contact with Scott to make sure we didn’t cross paths – Not easy with us all staying in the same hotel! Then the ‘blur’, the getting ready blur that happens on your wedding day.
We have one photo of Scott collecting our New York wedding ‘cheesecake’ and the rest are the photos Dreamlife took. These are the photos I’m going to share with you now.
Getting Ready with the girls
I chose to apply my own make up and do my own hair on my wedding day, thank goodness for a good hair day!
It was too hot to have my hair down so I opted for an ‘up do’
All my make up was Chanel apart from the lip stain which was from benefit.
Scott was given my shoe the morning of the wedding to write me a note. It’s still on my shoe mixed in with a little bit of New York itself.
We exchanged token gifts on the day, with Isaac performing his delivery duties well. Scott also surprised me with a bunch of dozen yellow roses which were just beautiful – My new favourite flower.
Our rings were from Tombland Jewellers in Norwich. Scotts has his engraved with the GPS coordinates of the Cop Cot and mine has Cop Cot NYC inside.
I love my dress, it’s a Justin Alexander gown.
How beautiful – All the bouquets, button holes, corsages and reception flowers were created by Flowers By Daye, an extremely talented lady. I can’t believe how beautiful she made everything from just a few e-mails from myself
We love you all
Taxis were hailed and if was off to the Cop Cot, Central Park…
